The best way DFI can help the development community is to transfer their skills to those who are called upon to conduct investigations. This two-day program consists of one day of instruction (evidence collection, analysis, interview techniques, report writing, etc.) and one day of conducting a mock investigation. The attendees must review the allegation, analyze evidence (emails, telephone & bank records), request records, conduct interviews and develop additional witnesses and request additional documents as the investigation unfolds. Attendees conduct at least one interview in front of the class and are evaluated by the instructors; and are expected to outline a report of investigation in their organization’s format.
